Recession or off?
Latest figures show that in the last 3 months of 2010 the UK economy decreased by 0.5%. However, TAG have seen a huge increase in IT vacancies at the start of 2011.
The UK IT Job market seems to have recovered! Well to us at least…… The past 6 weeks have seen over 20 new vacancies come direct to us via new clients or existing clients looking to fill positions, without the need for cold calling new clients to generate business. In January 2010 we had just 3 new IT vacancies come in and our consultants spend a lot of time searching for vacancies to fill rather than candidates that are looking for work. Today alone, new clients came to us requiring: 1 junior PHP developer, 1 Senior Magento Developer, 1 Junior Magento Developer, 1 experienced web developer and 1 Field Engineer! 5 new jobs in 1 day. New vacancies this year:
